Groatie Buckie Small Shell Ring in Silver & 9ct Yellow Gold SageCode-R206 Six lattice-like designs join toThis Groatie Buckie ring features a small northern cowrie shell in solid 9ct yellow gold, delicately placed on a 2mm silver band and hand finished in our Orkney workshop. The strong tides of the Pentland Firth guard many natural treasures. Fishermen occasionally discover one of these treasures, the elusive Groatie Buckie (northern cowrie shell), when hauling in their creels. These small, intriguing shells are said to bring good luck and can be found
