but the marks are worn and difficult to decipher

Hallmarked with master mark HL and the sword 835 for 2nd grade silver

Gekeurd met zwaardje voor 2e gehalte zilver en meesterkeur GB5

but also very appealing to collectors of Judaica and antique silver

De tang is fraai bewerkt met blad en bloemmotieven en gemaakt door de fa. H. Hooykaas uit Schoonhoven. Werkzaam van 1924 1943. De tang is gekeurd met het tweede gehaltekeur en de uitvoer sleutel, (deze tang is dus verkocht naar het buitenland), minervakopje en meesterteken HH. Gewicht: 70,9 gram. Afmetingen: 5,5 x 18 cm.
