Simply connect each end of the hose to each barrel per the instructions. When the primary barrel is full, it will overflow into the next rain barrel. The setup is quick and just requires a screwdriver for the clamps and a drill with a 1 4" 3 8" bit. When positioning the rain barrels be sure to have the primary barrel level with, if not higher
